(Click here to download this article as a PDF file)
12 April, 2020 was the 20th anniversary of Ángel Rivière’s passing away. He was Professor of Cognitive Psychology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, expert in human development and education, and a key figure in the study, diagnosis and treatment of autism in the Spanish-speaking countries. For this occasion, the Journal for the Study of Education and Development / Infancia y Aprendizaje has been preparing, since March 2019, a Special Issue paying tribute to the contributions of this eminent author to the knowledge of today's so-called 'Autism Spectrum’. It was published in issue 43/4: https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/riya20/43/4?nav=tocList. |

Taylor & Francis / Routledge and Fundación Infancia y Aprendizaje are pleased to announce that Dr. Bárbara M. Brizuela, Professor of Education at the School of Arts and Sciences and Dean of Academic Affairs for the School of Arts & Sciences at Tufts University, will become the new Editor of Infancia y Aprendizaje, Journal for the Study of Education and Development starting January 1, 2017.
Dr. Brizuela’s unique trajectory as a bilingual scholar of proven excellence in both Spanish- and English-speaking academic arenas guarantees a perfect adjustment to the journal. Furthermore, Dr. Brizuela’s extensive network of fellow scholars hailing from both English and Spanish-speaking countries and institutions, paired with her strategic, area-based vision for the composition of her editorial team, ensures the support of a panel of multicultural and multilingual Associate Editors. The journal thus hopes to become an internationally inclusive showcase of the latest research in educational and developmental psychology.
Dr. Brizuela’s work will build on the outstanding leadership of Dr. Nora Scheuer and Dr. Carles Monereo, outgoing Editors of the journal. We thank them for their excellent service to the journal. |
