Taylor & Francis / Routledge and Fundación Infancia y Aprendizaje are pleased to announce that Dr. Miguel Moya, Professor of Social Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Head of the Social Psychology Department at Universidad de Granada, will become the new Editor of Revista de Psicología Social, International Journal of Social Psychology starting January 1, 2017.
Dr. Moya has a long-standing trajectory in Social Psychological research in both Spanish- and English-speaking academic arenas. Throughout his career he has published in the main journals in the field, having carried out research and co-authored articles with some of Social Psychology’s most relevant scholars, such as Susan T. Fiske, Russell Spears, Vincent Yzerbyt, Naomi Ellemers, Manuela Barreto, Peter Glick or Gerd Bohner, to name a few. Dr. Moya has also been an invited researcher at prestigious institutions, like the University of Kent, and the Departments of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Princeton. He also has broad editorial experience, having served as an Editorial Advisor and Board member both for Revista de Psicología Social as well as other prestigious journals (such as the European Journal of Social Psychology and the Journal of Community & Applied Social Psychology).
The combination of Dr. Moya’s research trajectory and extensive network of researchers hailing from both English and Spanish-speaking countries and institutions ensures the support of a highly-acclaimed, multicultural and multilingual Editorial Board. The journal thus hopes to become an internationally inclusive showcase of the latest research in Social Psychology.
Dr. Moya will build on the direction the journal has followed under Dr. José Manuel Sabucedo, outgoing Editor. We thank him for his dedicated, outstanding work during his tenure. |
