CiteULike is an online service for storing and organizing references and pdf documents found in the Internet. Moreover, it allows for documents to be shared with coleagues and friends, for people with similar interests to be found (for instance, who else is reading that one article that I've found so interesting, and what other stuff that person is reading); all of it with an intuitive, user-friendly interface, accessible from anywhere in the world through an Internet connection. When you see an article of interest, simply click on a button integrated in your browser window (you may download it from CiteULike when you register), and it is instantly added to your personal library. CiteULike automatically extracts the complete reference so you don't have to type it. Your library is shared with other users (if you want to, of course), so you may view who else is reading the same articles as you, and give and receive document and reference recommendations. To organize your library, simply add one or more tags to each document (for instance, "memory", "encefalitis", and "Science") so you may easily locate them.. You may create bibliography lists directly from CiteULike, using EndNote or BibTeX. You may also import references to CiteULike from BibTeX. For more information, you may visit CiteULike's FAQ section, the blog, or this clip. Only registered users can write comments!
